JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Develop a market plan to meet annual sales targets
  • Receiving customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person, and via telephone calls and emails.
  • Arranging meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business (provided with presentations).
  • Negotiating on price, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers.
  • Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to place orders.
  • Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions.
  • Liaising with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders.
  • Follow up with customer to guarantee payment of invoices on time.
  • Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets.
  • Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales on behalf of the company’s partners.
  • Gathering market and customer intelligence.
  • Representing the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED (Mandatory):

  • At least 5 YRS experience
  • Mechanical or electrical engineering degree
  • Relevant experience in GCC oil & gas or power generation is a PLUS

  • Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the target market segment that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
  • Prepares action plans for individuals as well as for team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
  • Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted to customers
  • Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of clients’ satisfaction.
  • Maintains contact with all vendors to ensure high levels of vendors’ satisfaction
  • Cash flow management; to guarantee safe receipt of cash collections.
  • Follow up competition analysis and market development intelligence.
  • Submit weekly and monthly reports to superior.
  • Ability to present ideas / results / market analysis in power point format.
  • Follow up with vendors and ETQAN Finance Dept. to pay vendors’ invoices on time and guarantee credit facilities to ETQAN.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED (Mandatory):

  • Transferable work visa
  • Valid QID & Qatar driving license
  • Very good command of English language written and spoken. Arabic language is a plus
  • Previous experience in GCC counties and construction sector is mandatory
  • University degree. Certified by foreign affairs ministry of issuing country
  • Engineering degree in mechanical, civil or electrical is a plus
